Community Management Internship

Heroic is a music management agency based in The Netherlands. We provide artist management, record label and publishing services for our clients. Our mission is to Empower Creators.


As Community Manager Intern you will be responsible for engaging the communities of our management clients on social media and other web platforms. You will work closely with our Content and Social Media Manager and the respective management clients (San Holo, DROELOE, Taska Black, Fytch and Unlike Pluto).


This is an unpaid internship position and can be offered in exchange for college credit. We are looking for an enthusiastic go-getter who lives and breathes social media, who is looking for experience in the music industry and artist management.

Responsibilities:

  • Community management: Monitoring and engaging with comments and interactions of fans across all our clients' socials (inc. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook fan-groups).
  • Rewarding interactions with the artist' brands: Monitoring and engaging with Tweets and IG posts mentioning the artists' names, song lyrics or related content.
  • Uploading content to Snapchat: With the shift to IG our artists are focusing their attention to IG Stories, however we value Snapchat and you'll be uploading IG Story content to Snap.
  • Assisting the Social & Content Manager: General assistance across day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Researching new social tools and features: Reviewing relevant resources to support our Social & Content Manager on ensuring we are operating as well as possible.

Requirements

  • College / University student or graduate.

  • Digital native who actively runs social media accounts and has a deep understanding of best practices on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, Twitter.

  • Go-getter. You're diligent and do not wait to be told what to do. You don't mind working late or doing whatever it takes to get the job done.

  • Punctual, good with deadlines and representative in spoken and written word.

  • No conflict of interest with Heroic's activities: we ask full commitment from our team members and do not accept artist management, publishing or label activities on the side whilst working with us.

  • Ability to work 20+ hours/week.

  • This is a remote position. If you are based in The Netherlands or in any of the locations where our North American team works that's a bonus.
